ROUND OF APPLAUSE: Shedding light on underrated Choreographers.

This is one of my favorite choreographers piece her name is LUAM I feel she's so overlooked and I'm here to shed light on her talent.Watch this Video (Luam is the only female in the middle) the dancers are phenomenal as well...I love this piece its so dope! HOPE YOU ENJOY (^_^)

This is what I call good music,great talent. Enough of this soulja boy,gucci mane, waka flocka,  and all these artist who talk about foolishness. those people get recognized for nonsense songs. lets support these artist who show real talent. I've looked back on the past years and now I just think geez! what happened to hip hop,what happened to that good music,what happened to the powerful lyrics? we have gucci mane who raps about the color yellow as if he doesn't know his colors. soulja who raps about swagg in every song, waka flocka who raps about drugs, an gangs yet none of them speak anything thats even tiny bit influential. we need more rappers who balance out the influential and party songs.

NATIONALISM

Nationlism-  The sense of one's country being better than another, but controlled by dictation.

Here's a little history: Europeans came and created the biggest genocide to the Native Americans that is not acknowledged at all in classrooms.why is that? Took billions of Africans hundreds of years ago from Africa's land and enslaved, beaten,sold given no respect,no love and made them work for their masters and given scraps to eat. we never go into depth on that either, why is that?  through the present times United states went to war with Iraq, and Afghanistan some say for the safety of the United States but when we look into politics can we truly say that all politicians use ethos?  well I don't believe it was for the safety of the U.S but  that there was a hidden motive for those invasions. I ask this question: How can you say your country is better? is it because you have the resources to build, become educated, to have a business and make money? what rule book does it say that a country is better because of those things?  hate consumes the human race, Racism still exist, prejudice is very real, we ridicule what we do not understand,wanting complete control over others cultures as a country we have failed were has our humanity gone? I don't believe United states is great, I don't believe Europe is Great, but I will use what is offered in the united states to live better than the brainwashed people who make this their permanent country.

how do you describe being in love? and to love? (boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/wife)

well I define being in love with someone as infactuation,lust, only last for a certain time. being in love just means you can fall out of love. When you can favor many things about them but the actions you don't favor pushes you to that breaking point.when you can just give up on your relationship easily. My definition of To Love, is when even through the crap,certain actions you can't stand about them, you appreciate the good in that person more. if they cheated and you forgave them and worked through it.(vice versa)I feel when you love someone even if the two of you do not work out, you still genuinely love that person and if they called you because they were going through a crisis/or in the hospital you would be there because you have a deep sense of respect,and care for that person you love that person. when you can't let go of your relationship so easily. when you can acknowledge what you once had without feeling any regret or resentment. a lot of people like being in love, because to love someone takes a lot of energy and time. I'm only 22 and I've been a relationship for 3yrs now and I've grown to love the man I'm with because through the arguements/disagreements the yelling/ screaming crazy drama bullshit I still very much appreciate the man that he is and all the positive in him. young adults now a days don't want to love, but rather be in love because its not permanent they want to be in a relationship for the winter and single for the summer. I don't have anything against that but with the amount of diseases, flying around from people wanting live like a rockstar its just not my cup of tea but that's another blog post I will get into.lol

EVERYTHING I WANTED(The Plan)

"THE PLAN"  was to be an entertainer I love the Arts,theatre and dance,and that was a dream of mine,to act and dance,& be this huge author/own a magazine company. I have the talent, I was blessed with the gift and this is one plan I will never let go of. 

Let me take you back a few yrs ago

I remember having these talks with my friend kioni and a former friend(shall remain nameless) we talked about moving in together the different colors our rooms would be. being in music videos,in movies,singing careers, things like that. I thought we were to remain friends because I considered them family. so I would back them up, support their goals, try to help us reach our goals, but that did not go as planned or end on a good note once I saw deep down how Dishonest,disloyal,&selfish some "friends" can be.

now back to the present times

"The plan" was to finish college with a degree and start my business by the time I was 24 well I've come to realize that everything won't go 100% according to my set goal time. I get frustrated sometimes at the thought of not getting things done in the time I planned,but I have to deal with it and keep striving.

Apart of "The plan" was to move in by 2010 with my bestfriend,lover,my husband(not legally married yet)but that also did not happen. currently I live at home w/dad and so I feel before we rush that move in together its important for me to have my own place first. he has experience freedom for yrs now(I strongly encourage that for young adult couples) I'm still friends with kioni,and I gained some more great people in my life,  an although my plans has been set back,or altered alittle bit because of minor or major circumstances that happen. trust me I'm going to have everything I want eventually.

POETRY

What is it that we look for in poetry? I look for brave voices that are no one but themselves,who understand their gift and reaches whomever with words. (me personally) I've been writting for awhile now and specifically love spoken word but I havent mastered my butterflies so that they fly nsync formation.(if you get my drift)I named this blog post "intoxication" because I'm drunk off poetry,love,& dance and I rather stay intoxicated than be beaten down by my worries,an others negativity. charles baudelaire wrote a poem called "Intoxication" and it spoke to me. I suggest we all stay intoxicated on whatever it is that keeps our souls happy.
